OneSight is pleased to announce the appointment of the organization’s new Executive Director, Mony Iyer. In this role, Iyer will be responsible for leading OneSight globally including its sustainable and charitable programming, brand growth, fundraising and engagement, and operations.
For the past 2 years, Iyer has led global strategic planning for OneSight, as well as the deployment of OneSight’s growing portfolio of sustainable development initiatives both in sub-Saharan Africa and in the U.S. He has also overseen OneSight’s innovation pipeline, focusing on understanding the size of the global vision care crisis and developing programming to address it around the world.
Prior to joining OneSight, Iyer was with the Corporate Strategy and Business Development team for Luxottica Retail, leading strategic projects in North and South America. He has also worked in International Strategy and Sales for The Hershey Company, covering markets in Asia and Latin America. Iyer began his career with The Boston Consulting Group, a strategic consulting firm, and Motorola Semiconductor.
Iyer received his MBA from Duke University. He also has a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke, and graduated with distinction from the University of Madras while living in India for seven years.
