2015 Impact Report

2015 Impact

OneSight unlocked potential in underserved communities as we defined the global need for vision care access, scaled solutions and strengthened local communities around the world to deliver continuous care.

All of this was possible because of the individuals and families, communities and governments,
sponsors and organizations that believe, like us, when the world sees better, the world lives better.

The Global Need For Vision Care Access and Glasses

1 in 7 people around the world need glasses
but lack access to vision care

In 2015 Deloitte and OneSight conducted an extensive study to clearly define the problem.

What does it mean to lack access?

  • It can mean not living near an eye doctor.
  • It can mean not being able to afford an eye exam or pair of glasses.

Those who lack access are hindered...

  • at work
  • at school
  • in relationships
